Coco Retro is an informal bistro in the heart of Tunbridge Wells serving exquisite and traditional French dishes.
Coco Retro was established in 2017 – its aim was to bring the intense flavours of Parisian and Northern French cuisine and an authentic continental experience to Royal Tunbridge Wells. The restaurant was designed to evoke the unmistakable style of Parisian dining, Coco Retro offers a wide range of traditional as well as modern French dishes, developed in-house using the finest, fresh, local ingredients.
The restaurant is separated into three sections.
The top floor, is ideal for a romantic date night. It has over 450 wines to select from and views looking over Tunbridge wells. The open kitchen, where you can see the chefs at work gives the Restaurant a calm and relaxing charm about it.
The bistro on the ground floor is like stepping into Paris without leaving Tunbridge Wells. With a beautiful gold bar at the entrance and a daily specials board, the Bistro presents the perfect casual setting for its customers to savour an authentic French meal.
“La Cave,” in the cellar of the building is the secret gem of Coco Retro. Surrounded by wines from all over the world, their wine cellar offers an intimate setting for special occasions.
Coco Retro prides itself on what’s in a customers glass, just as much as what’s on the plate. On top of their astounding wine selection, the restaurant has over 20 unique cocktails to choose from.
